Christina is a second-year undergraduate chemical engineering student from the University of Toronto. In the ATOMS lab, her research focuses on monitoring and computational modelling of water quality in a waste disposal site. The project involves assessing groundwater, surface water, and leachate levels, as well as tracking contaminants transport in porous media. Upon the completion of the study, recommendations for subsequent sampling and monitoring procedures will be formulated.
