Zakariya is a fourth-year undergraduate student, pursuing a BASc in Mechanical Engineering. At ATOMS Lab, he is conducting research for his undergraduate thesis, focusing on the thermal characterization of lithium-ion pouch cells under external pressure. For his co-op term, he worked at Ontario Power Generation where he performed thermohydraulic analysis of nuclear reactor systems.
