Himanshu is a post doctoral fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada. His research focused on thermal management and performance of next-generation battery materials, particularly low-dimensional systems.  Himanshu also investigates phonon properties, electron–phonon interactions, and heat-transport mechanisms in 2D battery materials to understand and optimize their stability, efficiency, and energy-storage capabilities. Himanshu aims to design and predict advanced materials with improved thermal and electrochemical performance for sustainable energy technologies.
