Arjun is a Mechatronics Engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo, set to begin his MASc in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Toronto in September 2025, after joining the ATOMS Lab as a student researcher in May. His work focuses on the thermal management of battery packs for both residential and automotive applications. Arjun has previously worked in a variety of automotive-based engineering roles at Toyota and Tesla. He also co-authored a research paper during his time at the Technical University of Hamburg, Germany, which is slated for publication in “Machine Learning and Data Science in Geotechnics” in late 2025. In addition, during his undergraduate degree, he was a member of the University of Waterloo Formula Motorsport team, where he worked on the Aerodynamics and Powertrain subsystems.
