Camilo is a MASc student in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and joined the ATOMS lab in 2020. His research focuses on battery thermal management system (BTMS) design for electric vehicles and is working on battery degradation modelling as applied to BTMS optimization.

Camilo received his Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2020. His bachelor’s project involved the CFD analysis of an electric vehicle battery and container assembly for motorsport applications.
