Daniyal is a current Vascular Surgery resident physician and MASc student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He obtained his BMSc from Western University and MD from Queen’s University. Enrolled in the Surgeon-Scientist Training Program in collaboration with the ATOMS Lab, Daniyal aims to investigate the impact of high-risk imaging features on aortic enlargement in patients with uncomplicated Type B Aortic Dissections through computational fluid dynamic models. His research interests are advanced endovascular repairs for complex aortic pathologies and improving post-operative outcomes after these surgeries.
