Daniyal is a current Vascular Surgery resident physician and PhD Candidate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He obtained his BMSc from Western University, MSc from University of Toronto and MD from Queen’s University. Enrolled in the Surgeon-Scientist Training Program in collaboration with the ATOMS Lab, Daniyal aims to investigate the impact of high-risk imaging features on aortic enlargement in patients with uncomplicated Type B Aortic Dissections through computational fluid dynamic models. His research interests are advanced endovascular repairs for complex aortic pathologies and improving post-operative outcomes after these surgeries.
