Mishal is an undergraduate student in Engineering Science at the University of Toronto specializing in Robotics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. She joined ATOMS Lab as a Summer Student in May 2025 and working in the lab’s Thermal Management group. Her research focuses on developing digital twins for batteries to support improved system monitoring and performance optimization. Driven by her passion for biomedical engineering and intelligent robotic systems, Mishal combines her technical expertise with a strong foundation in data-driven modeling. Her work involves collecting experimental and simulation data related to battery thermal behavior and organizing it within a structured database. This enables systematic analysis and visualization of testing results, providing insights that help validate and refine the digital twin models for real-world battery applications.
