Anthony Podgorsak

MASc Student

Anthony is an MASc student in the cardiovascular biomechanics side of ATOMS. His research focuses on the computational optmization and physical validation of a minimally invasive cavopulmonary assist device for use in patient of failing Fontan circulations. Working under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Doyle and Dr. Thomas Forbes, the overall goal of this project is to yield a commercially viable medical device. Anthony holds a BS (2018) from the University of Buffalo where his research focused on biomedical simulation and tissue engineering.
