Raymond is a first-year chemical engineering undergraduate student. He is performing summer research at the ATOMS lab on modelling thermal runaway in lithium-ion batteries, with particular emphasis on the influence of aging and different cell chemistries. He wishes to gain valuable experience usable in both academia and industry during his time in the lab through employment of machine learning and data analysis.
