Takiah is a MASc student in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Toronto, Canada. Takiah joined the ATOMS laboratory in 2021, and his research focuses on multidisciplinary design optimization supported by computational fluid dynamics. Takiah received his Bachelor of Engineering in Honours Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in 2021. During his undergraduate degree he completed experimental fluid dynamics research focused on free-boundary flow instabilities, with applications to Fusion energy reactor designs.
